Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using Boma, you agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you are using the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

You may use Boma only in compliance with applicable law, these terms, and any additional commercial or onboarding documents that apply to your plan or account.

Use of the service

Boma is provided as a software service for managing livestock operations, farm records, workflows, team activity, and related administrative processes. Customers are responsible for ensuring the service is used only by authorized personnel inside the intended operational context.

You may not use the service to violate law, interfere with the platform, bypass security controls, probe or access other tenants, submit malicious code, or misuse Boma in a way that degrades the experience for other users.

Accounts and workspace responsibility

Account owners and farm administrators are responsible for access governance inside their workspace, including who receives farm access, which role they are assigned, and when access should be changed or removed.

Customers remain responsible for the legality, quality, and appropriateness of the data they place into the product and for their internal decisions based on that data.

Customer data and permissions

Customers retain their rights in the data they submit to Boma. By using the service, customers authorize Boma to host, process, transmit, back up, and otherwise handle that data as necessary to operate and secure the platform.

Boma's access to customer data is limited to what is reasonably necessary for support, security, maintenance, lawful compliance, product operations, or other activities permitted by the applicable customer relationship.

Plans, billing, and commercial arrangements

Paid access, billing periods, plan limits, onboarding commitments, pilot arrangements, and upgrade terms are governed by the pricing plan or commercial arrangement in effect for the customer account.

Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, fees are due according to the billing cycle attached to the customer plan. Failure to pay may result in account restriction, downgrade, or suspension after reasonable notice where appropriate.

Availability, changes, and support

We may improve, modify, or retire features over time. We aim to do so in a way that protects customer continuity, but the platform evolves and may change as the product matures.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, though we design the service to be commercially reliable and operationally useful. Support channels, response expectations, and onboarding assistance may vary by plan or commercial arrangement.

Intellectual property

Boma and its underlying software, interfaces, workflows, branding, documentation, and supporting materials remain the property of Boma or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the service itself.

Customers may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create unauthorized derivative products from Boma except as expressly permitted by law or a separate written agreement.

Suspension and termination

Boma may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security incidents, abuse, unlawful conduct, serious breach of these terms, non-payment, or risk to the platform or other users.

Customers may stop using the service in accordance with their billing arrangement. Termination does not erase obligations that are intended to survive, including payment duties already accrued, confidentiality obligations, and limitations of liability.

Disclaimers and liability

Boma is provided on a commercially reasonable basis and may contain evolving functionality as the product develops. Except where a separate written agreement says otherwise, the service is provided without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every specific farm workflow.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boma is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the use of the service. Specific liability terms may be clarified or modified in a negotiated commercial agreement.
